Basic Rules for Verified Players, Team NeO Members & Admins

1. Basic Rules for Verified Players

Verified Players must obey all server rules at all times. Under no circumstance is it acceptable to break the rules.

• Verified Players must never fight, argue, insult, or show any form of negativity towards other team members in any public place (including in-game, Discord, forums, etc.). If you have an issue, try to resolve it peacefully. If you cannot, contact a Head Admin or Assistant Head Admin.
• Verified Players must never attempt to enforce rules by threatening punishments. You do not have administrative powers and should not act as if you do.
• Verified Players should help other players whenever possible by answering basic questions about the server, Team-NeO, commands, etc.
• Verified Players must never use cheats of any kind on our server or any other multiplayer game.
• Verified Players must never help others find, install, or use cheats or forbidden software/mods.
• Verified Players must never be abusive or insulting towards any players.
• Verified Players must show respect at all times and in all places of our network.

If you are accepted as a Verified member, you are expected to always follow these rules. Breaking them may result in removal from the Verified rank. Receiving a warning puts your Verified status at risk.

Help yourself stand out by being helpful, friendly, and going the extra mile. Verified players will have a GREEN name color.

2. Basic Rules for Team NeO Members

• Team NeO members must never invent, create, or enforce rules that are not listed in !rules or /rules.
• Team NeO members must never fight, argue, or insult other team members in any public place (including IRC, forums, Discord, etc.). Resolve issues peacefully or contact higher management.
• Team NeO members must keep swearing to a minimum (and avoid it completely in some areas).
• Team NeO members must follow all server rules at all times.
• Team NeO members must be respectful towards everyone at all times.
• Team NeO members must wear their NeO_ jacket/tag at all times while playing on official Team NeO servers.
• Team NeO members must never insult players, even with mild insults like “n00b” or “prick”.
• Team NeO members must never change their NeO name without permission from a Head Admin.
• Team NeO members must never use or help others use cheats or forbidden mods.
• Team NeO members must report rule-breakers to actual Admins instead of threatening players with powers they do not have.

If accepted as a Team NeO member, you are expected to follow these rules at all times. Violations will be punished at the discretion of higher management.

3. Basic Rules for Admins

• Admins must never invent or enforce rules that are not listed in !rules or /rules (except for temporary on-the-spot situations that require discretion).
• Admins must never fight, argue, or insult other team members in public.
• If another Admin or VIP is already handling a rule-breaker, do not interfere unless asked.
• Admins must follow all server rules at all times.
• Admins must answer questions from players that relate directly to our servers.
• Admins must never use cheats of any kind.
• Admins must only use their powers after exhausting all other reasonable options.
• Admins must never be abusive or insulting towards any player, especially other staff members.
• Admins must show respect at all times.
• Admins must never help others with cheats or forbidden software.
• Admins must never promote or fuel arguments between players. Remain neutral, set a good example, and resolve issues fairly.
